THE BIKE NERD
BIKE ADVENTURES FOR BIKE NERDS

Ahoy. I'm Seth Werkheiser and I'm a nomadic bike nerd without a zip code to call home. In July 2010 I ditched all my stuff and left Brooklyn, NY on my bike.

This is my Tumblr, and you can follow my travels, writing and photography on thebikenerd.com and on Twitter.

Things I Like
When my grandfather passed away, my grandma was heartbroken.

Soon after, my grandmother started going to karaoke bars to sing.

At the viewing were family members and karaoke bar patrons. They talked about how she would get dressed up each night. Notably, her gold pants.

Everyday is a shot to build upon our legacy. Our legacy is all we have when we die. We can’t take our 401k, our iPhones or our DVD collections when we pass away.

So put on your gold pants, dance in the streets, erase poverty or build a house.Do something.
No one is going to talk about your Facebook updates at your funeral.
